Rugby For ADHD Children and Their Families
The ADHD Children's Rugby Program aims to support children diagnosed with ADHD, specifically those in Primary 3 to Primary 6, by enhancing their social and perceptual skills through rugby. In partnership with professors from the Education University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, this initiative provides a platform for parents to deepen their understanding of ADHD and improve their parenting techniques.
The program includes eight weekly sessions, where children engage in rugby activities and learn valuable social-emotional skills from qualified coaches. Families participate together, fostering bonds through shared experiences. After completing the program, participants will have opportunities to connect with local rugby clubs, furthering their engagement with the rugby community and enhancing their social networks.
