Rugby For Good (RFG) is Hong Kong’s first sports-focused charity, partnering with impact-driven organisations to deliver innovative, play-based programmes that use rugby to empower individuals and strengthen communities. Our programmes focus on social emotional learning (SEL) and measurable social development outcomes, helping people connect, play, and grow through sport.
About the Role
RFG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Officer to support the day-to-day implementation of our community rugby programmes. This role is central to our mission of serving a wide range of underserved communities in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate is passionate about sport for development, enjoys working directly with diverse participants and coaches, and wants to contribute to meaningful social impact.
Job Responsibilities
Programme Coordination: Assist in the coordination and logistics of trainings, tournaments, workshops, and community events for underserved groups.
On-ground Support: Work directly with coaches, volunteers, and participants to ensure smooth programme delivery and a positive, inclusive experience.
Data Collection & Administration: Support data collection, participant database updates, and handle general administrative tasks for programmes.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a supportive point of contact for participants, families, and community partners under the guidance of the Project Manager.
Marketing & Communications Support: Provide content and updates from programmes to the MarComms team.
Ad-hoc Duties: Support the project team with other tasks as required to ensure programme success.
Qualifications & Experience
University graduates in Social Sciences, Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
Interest or experience in sports for development, community service, or work with underserved populations is preferred.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team with people from diverse backgrounds.
Basic computer skills (MS Office tools - Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Good command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
