About the Role
RFG is seeking a professional and responsible Assistant Project Manager to help manage key Sport for Development Projects, promoting and sustaining the growth of inclusive programs in the community. The role involves supporting participants from various underserved communities to build social skills and integrate into the wider community, as well as managing a variety of education through sports training and activities.
Job Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management: Plan, manage, and coordinate a range of trainings, tournaments, and community integration activities for underserved groups.
Team Supervision: Supervise the coaching team and manage administrative duties to keep projects on track.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including participants, families, community partners, schools, sponsors, and volunteers.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL): Support MEL activities including data collection, entry, and the preparation of summary reports for programme review.
Programme Reporting: Assist in managing programme deliverables and preparing regular reports for sponsors and internal use.
Marketing & Communications: Work with the marketing and communications team to support consistent brand and impact messaging.
Ad-hoc Duties: Handle any other project or administrative duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
University graduates in Social Sciences, Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project/programme management, preferably in sports for development, NGO, or social services sectors with a focus on underserved communities.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Creative, proactive, and able to lead a team.
Comfortable with MS Office tools for data entry and basic analysis.
Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
Passionate about social impact, empathetic, patient, and a team player with a commitment to serving diverse underserved populations.
